About Mária Schuller
MOME, Fashion and Textile Design, MA Graduation Project
My plan of degree work based on the embriodered patches. It is made by machine, which appeared in our life as logos of products. I find out in the course of research that paches often represent animals. Accordingly, my clothes based on animal symbols like organizing principle.
I got opportunitie to make my own paches that I designed as well in a factory. The five clothes is composed of these paches that I had made. As I selected and mixed different materials during production the clothes has different coloures under natural light and under UV light.
Every clothe’s patches are based on my own personal story so the mentioned clothes are humorous. The result is the clothes became visual poems by pictorial and textual humor.
