In collaboration with Madeleen Dijkman Beeldenstorm / Daglicht is organizing a masterclass in experimental textile design. In this masterclass you work with textiles and various inks that process the properties of the material. The things we will experiment with include: Puff inks, ausbrenner, shrink printing and adhesive printing. Your starting point is your own creativity and drive to experiment. The lessons results in your own collection of textile samples. From there you can work towards a concrete design or application. The masterclass will pay attention on how to translate a concept into a design. You receive coaching, inspiration and feedback from the teacher and fellow students.
