Selection and judging
The DDA selection committees comprise independent design experts, who scout and evaluate submissions based on five criteria: aesthetics, impact, innovation, method of manufacturing and cooperation. The finalists will be announced in June. An international jury will choose the winners in October. The celebratory prize-giving event will take place during Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven.
Registration and additional information
Designers who would like to compete for a Dutch Design Award must register through the DDA website before Tuesday 7 April 2015. The website also has more information about selection committees, categories, evaluation criteria, and the winners from former editions: www.dutchdesignawards.nl
Dutch Design Awards
Dutch Design Awards are prizes for the best in the field of Dutch design. The prize-giving with exhibition during Dutch Design Week and the publication of the Dutch Design Yearbook (in cooperation with the publisher’s nai010) form a platform for the full spectrum of Dutch design.
